about the author
Mark Zvonkovic earned a degree in literature and classical language at Boston University, and a law degree at Southern Methodist University School of Law. His family moved often, taking him to Central America, the Caribbean, New York, Texas, Connecticut and Virginia in his early years. After college Mark was a junior high school English teacher in the public schools in Medford. MA. After law school he has practiced corporate law in a law firm for 33 years, first in Houston, Texas for 13 years, and subsequently in New York City. Married for 33 years with three grown daughters, he lives in New York City. He serves on several boards of nonprofits engaged in education and children's activities, including the Aloha Foundation, a nonprofit in Vermont that runs camps and outdoor education for children and families, and The Teachers Network, a nonprofit in New York City that promotes collaboration and leadership among public school teachers. This is his first novel.
